Congrats to the Aggies beating the Sooners! The Wronghorns in Austin are running away from facing the Aggies, but for the moment the Aggies have to be laughing at them. They killed Oklahoma while Texas got whipped by Oklahoma AND the Aggies are out recruiting them to boot!
Kevin Sumlin is a heck of a coach. I think he's been overlooked as one of the causes of A&M's success. Manziel is an excellent player, but getting this team ready for year one in the SEC was an outstanding job. I'm not sure they will win as many games next year as the other teams will now know what to expect on offense, but they will be competitive.
It will be inetersting to see how the offense works next year if the tackles leave,,,they were outstanding, but no denying Manziel's play. To think, he was on the ropes in practice before the season, guess he "figured it out!" I don't recognize this team. (I don't think I could give them a higher compliment coming from a MU fan.)
With the recruiting base they have in TX and how well they did in their first year in the SEC, I think that a giant has been awakened and that historic powers in the conference had better watch out. AandM is just scary right now.
What a game from the Aggies, JMHO but A&M may be the best team right now. Congrats on a heck of a first year in the SEC. Shout out to Coach McKinney stepping up as OC, great job. He had the Sooners on their heels all night.
